My name is David Sparks. I'm genuine, passionate, opinionated, humble, and driven. I approach every project with the goal of achieving the highest quality of work I can.
Born and raised in Memphis, TN. I have developed my skills as a User Experience professional through 11+ years of interactive marketing experience. I'm driven by a desire to make things usable and accessible.
I started making websites at age 17 because of my activity in the local underground music scene in the early to late 2000's. Almost 20 years later, I'm still obsessed with creating user-centered websites and applications.
From 2006 to 2011, I held Interactive Developer positions at three companies. From 2013 to 2018 I was a User Experience Architect at Archer Malmo. In early 2018 I joined the UX team at ALSAC/St. Jude as a User Experience Designer.
What I do:
I have overseen a wide range of user-focused tasks for many projects and clients. Discovery, user research, workshop facilitation, flows, diagrams, wireframes, testing and research to name a few. I also work across departments to keep user needs and business goals front and center.
I’m responsible for design on my product team which includes usability, user research, user interface design, information architecture, prototyping and more.
